It does not cover your lower leg, and finishes just below the knee in a well-articulated knee piece. The leg harness for this collection is versatile, fitted and sleek. The whole piece is excellently articulated and beautiful in a way that none of our arm armor has been before. The cop provides decent coverage of your inner arm, and the rerebrace covers the outside of the arm, leaving you with lots of movement. The bracer is full-wrap, closing with a leather strap on one side and a hinge on the other. The vambrace, cop, and rerebrace are all connected with leather thonging, meaning you can wear each part individually if need be. The biceps, elbow cops, and forearm are separate elements, with the pauldrons attached to rerebrace. Two tassets attach at the bottom to bridge the gap between your cuirass and the leg harness. The lames follow a pointed shape, adding some visual interest to the whole design of the cuirass and making it quite the spectacle to look at. It is inspired by Gothic armor, following the same tapered shape at the back that you will find in a lot of harnesses. ![]() Flawlessly articulated, it provides you with a ton of protection, but still allows you to move around, which is vital in a fight. The breastplate is a triumph of blacksmithing. Adding to the overall quality look of this set of armor. Solid brass rivets have been used, and cast brass buckles as well. Quality leather is used for all of the straps that hold the pieces together, as well as edging around the outside of the armor. It is blackened, meaning it will hold up well to rust, as well as having a beautiful tone to it that you cannot get from any other process. The whole set is made from 1.2mm spring steel, with smaller lames made from 1mm. ![]() This full set consists of three pieces – a cuirass, arms with integrated pauldrons, and cuisses. It is historically inspired, but as usual, we have taken artistic liberty and made it even more beautiful than anything you will ever see in a manuscript. This whole harness is perfect for SCA or LARP combat as it is lightweight and provides a decent amount of protection at no loss of mobility.
